CrossEyed Ministries is the evangelistic preaching and worship leading ministry of Brian Richards which exists to guide people of all ages into a deeper relationship with Christ in order to carry out the Great Commission (Make Disciples) by living out the Great Commandment (Love God, Love People).
We are leading others as we continue to CHASE after JESUS!
CrossEyed Ministries was birthed out of a desire to equip the next generation now! We want to partner with local churches, church leaders and existing ministries to help spark a spiritual revolution that will sweep the globe and win the nations for Christ!
After serving churches in Louisiana and Mississippi as a Student Pastor for five years, Brian took a step of faith in the fall of 2007 to follow God's calling to full-time itinerant preaching and worship leading ministry.
About launching CrossEyed Ministries, Brian says, "I knew that God was calling me to something different. I knew He desired more from my life and my ministry. What He was really asking me to do was to trust Him, even though I didn't know exactly where He was leading. God reminded me about the lives of Abraham, Noah, and Moses. They didn't have it all figured out when He called them to a task. They simply obeyed. So that's what I am trying to do. Trusting His character and obeying His voice."
Brian was born in New Orleans, LA and grew up in the small town of Franklinton, LA. Raised by two godly parents, Brian accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of five and was baptized by his father at Hillcrest Baptist Church. He surrendered to the ministry at the age of 18 while serving on a World Changers mission trip with his youth group.
Brian received a B.A. in Mass Communications with minors in Business Administration and Christian Studies from Mississippi College in 2002. In 2006, he completed his Master of Divinity degree in Biblical Languages from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He was ordained in March of 2007 by Hillcrest Baptist Church and currently lives in Shreveport with his wife. |
